Who we list

We list photography businesses that publicly advertise work on Airbnb, Vrbo, furnished-rental, short-term-rental or vacation-rental properties. A general real-estate or commercial photographer with no public short-term rental work does not qualify, however good they are. We check this against the business's own website before publishing, and we record the page and date we checked.

What the badges mean

Public profile: Compiled by us from the business's publicly available information. The business has not contacted us and has not confirmed anything. This is the default.
Claimed: Someone authorised to represent the business has contacted us, confirmed the relationship, and we have replied to them at a business-controlled email address.
Verified: We have manually reviewed the listing against the criteria below and found every published claim supported. Verified is never applied to an unclaimed listing.
Featured: Paid priority placement in one primary city. This is advertising. It is disclosed on every listing that carries it.

Verification criteria

To be marked verified, all of the following must hold at the date checked:

The listing has been claimed by an authorised representative.
The website resolves and belongs to the business.
The business's own public materials support the short-term or vacation-rental specialisation.
Every service tag we publish is supported by the business's own public materials.
Every market we publish is one the business itself says it serves.
Any turnaround time we publish is stated publicly by the business. We do not publish one on request alone.

We do not verify insurance, licensing, pricing or quality, and verified does not mean we recommend anyone.

Images on listing cards

If you have sent us an image, we use that one. Otherwise the card shows the preview image your own website publishes for link sharing, the og:image tag, cached on our servers so your bandwidth is not spent on our traffic. We record where each image came from and when we fetched it.

We do not take images from your portfolio, your galleries or your social accounts. If you would rather we used a different image, or none at all, tell us through the corrections and removal page and we will change it. We do not ask why.

What we will not publish

Delivery times, coverage areas or specialities we cannot find in the provider's own public materials.
Reviews, ratings or comparative quality claims.
Descriptions generated for a provider and presented as fact.

Paid placement

The founding featured listing costs $29 for the first year and is limited to the first 25 approved photographers. Payment is requested only after we have reviewed and approved the listing, and only through a Stripe-hosted payment page. We never ask for card details on this site. Paying does not buy a verified badge: the criteria above apply either way.

Applying

Use the list your business page. Free listings, claims, corrections and removals all go through the same form, and corrections and removals are always free.
